We are staying in the Sun Hall Hotel on Athens Ave 6 in Larnaca Cyprus and would like to rent a car as near as possible, what is the nearest pick up location, it is close to the Pizza Hut?

What you should do to find the closest car hire location is: after you pressed SEARCH at STEP1 and the website shows results (vehicles), press the filter at the top right hand side. It is set to SORT BY PRICE, change it to SORT BY DISTANCE and the website shows results based on the nearest rental car pick up location based on your search criteria.

OK, I see the filter and will follow your instructions. Other question: Unfortunately I don't have any credit card but I have all the necessary funds on my Debit Card. Is it possible to pay with it for the rental?

Some suppliers accept Debit Cards. The card must have a Mastercard or VISA logo and your name embossed on the front. It cannot be a pre-paid card. To view if a supplier accepts Debit Cards next to each car photo is a link entitled IMPORTANT INFORMATION, click this link to view conditions. Try a few different suppliers as they do vary. At STEP2 of our 3 step online booking process, to the right of the car photo of your choice, is a link entitled "IMPORTANT INFORMATION". Click on this link and it will open an additional smaller window, where the terms and conditions appertaining to that particular car at your chosen location are displayed.

To be honest, I don't see any rental car supplier accepting a Debit Card?

In Greece a Debit Card is not very popular, whereas in most other EU countries it is.

I could pay with cash or debit card. Trouble is I had no idea credit card would be necessary. I don't have enough time to make one, unfortunately.

Cash is never accepted. Credit Cards are required world-wide by rental car companies.
